Created from our passion for architecture, design and traditional craftsmanship, the property brings together two unique, independent houses, each designed for privacy, comfort and a genuine connection with nature.
Here, there is space to breathe, slow down and simply enjoy being away.

Montes da Ronha is a private countryside retreat in the Alentejo, surrounded by seven hectares of nature and just a short drive from the wild beaches of the Vicentine Coast.

Here, there is space to breathe, slow down and simply enjoy being away.
Ronha is a Portuguese word describing a reluctance to make an effort, even when we are perfectly capable of doing so. For us, Ronha means something more: the art of slowing down, taking your time and simply allowing yourself to be.
A ronha é uma desinclinação emocional à actividade ou ao esforço, mesmo quando se tem a capacidade de agir ou de se esforçar. Para nós, Ronha é mais do que isso: é a arte de desacelerar, de não ter pressa e de nos permitirmos simplesmente estar.
Os "Montes" / The houses
As duas casas foram construídas num estilo rústico que se integra naturalmente na paisagem da região e respeita os elementos que a rodeiam. Ambas estão viradas para o nascer do sol.
Cada casa tem a sua própria cozinha, casa de banho e sala de estar, oferecendo independência e privacidade durante a estadia.
O Cerro da Azinheira tem três quartos, um espaço exterior independente e a sua própria piscina.
A Hobbit é uma casa mais íntima e singular, pensada para quem procura tranquilidade, privacidade e uma ligação especial com a natureza.
Both houses are built in a rustic style that blends naturally into the surrounding landscape. They both face the sunrise and are designed to connect with the natural environment.
Each house has its own kitchen, bathroom and living space, offering independence and privacy throughout your stay.
Cerro da Azinheira has three bedrooms, an independent outdoor area and its own swimming pool.
Hobbit is a more intimate and distinctive retreat, designed for those looking for peace, privacy and a special connection with nature.
